School Profiles

aim to:

  • Allow schools and districts to re-evaluate assumptions using data.
  • Increase the potential for student achievement.
►What?

A School Profile is an at-a-glance, highly detailed report of your standardized test data designed to provide information about your school district overall, as well as for student subgroups.

Armed with a School Profile, school site and district staff have the ability to pave the way for significant, well-informed, school reform — reform that will raise student achievement in the target content areas.

►How?

Our School Profiles help administrators to assess specifics about their school:

  • The district provides Key Data Systems four years of STAR data.
  • We turn the text files into meaningful reports, including trend analysis of API and AYP, grade-level and cohort analysis of CSTs, strand level analysis of CSTs and CAHSEE, etc. All broken down by official student subgroups.
  • Using our guide to understanding your profile, you can easily walk through the profile and gain a better understanding of your school’s/district’s current achievement levels and make informed decisions about key focus areas.
